A native of North Carolina, Garner has trained extensively in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and modern dance styles. She began her formal training at the world renowned North Carolina School of the Arts, as well as spending a summer on scholarship attending the Rodnunsky Arts Center in Los Angeles.

After attending the University of North Carolina-Greensboro as a dance major, Garner served as a principal member of the High Country Ballet and was an actor and dancer in the High Point Community Theater. She has since instructed several national award winning dancers, received numerous awards for jazz, lyrical, and contemporary choreography, and has been nominated nationally for multiple Industry Dance Awards.

Garner lives in Maryville with her husband and four children.

Now in her 34th year teaching dance in the private studio setting, Ursula Margolis brings a wealth of experience to her students.

Originally from Toronto, Margolis trained in ballet, jazz, tap, and lyrical dance styles at the Joanne Chapman School of Dance. She earned her bachelor’s degree in dance with a concentration in ballet and modern from the University of Waterloo in Canada, and is certified by the Royal Academy of Dance, the British Association of Teachers of Dance, and the Dance Masters of America.

Margolis co-founded Artistic Dance Unlimited with Garner in 2000, and currently lives in Louisville with her husband and two children.

Lisa Clearman graduated from Illinois State University in 1990 with a degree in Dance.  She danced on the University Dance Theater all 4 years during college.  She was and continues to be a member of the Illinois Dance Association.  During Lisa’s last two years in college she was chosen as a Lab Dance Instructor.  During her college years she also taught at “The Dance Shop”.  She has trained under Keith Vonhedke Ballet master of The Chicago Opera Ballet and Lou Conte with the Hubbard Street Dance Co.  She performed with Kenneth Greene while in college.  Other performances include: Don Quixote, Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Coppelia, and many more including “no name” performances.  Lisa also has numerous experiences choreographing for many beauty pageants and fashion shows. (She was also a talent show competitor for many years).

She is originally from Chicago and resided in Atlanta for the last 17 years.  Lisa currently lives in Maryville.  She has 5 children ages 19, 17, 15, 11, 7 and a dog named George.  In addition to pilates and dance she enjoys wakeboarding and The University of Tennessee football.

Charli began dancing at ADU at the age of 3 years old. She continued her dance training, along with attending conventions, and was a member of the ADU dance company throughout her teenage years.

Now, a sophomore in college, Charli is an instructor. She loves all types of dance but especially enjoys jazz and contemporary. Her hopes are to share the passion for dance to her students and contribute to their growth and abilities.

Lindsey Stratton dances because it is a part of her – like second nature. She’s been inspiring her students with her passion for dance for 15 years in schools throughout Georgia and Tennessee. Lindsey grew up in Georgia and began her dance training at the age of 3. She studied under Nancy Robinson Stone, owner and director of Dance Olympus and Dance America and Art Stone Costumes. There she studied various styles of dance including Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, and Pointe. Early in her career, she was chosen to participate as a Dance Olympus VIP and travel throughout the country as an assistant to various choreographers. She has also performed at festivals and events in Georgia. Throughout the years, she has attended numerous dance conventions and taken classes with master instructors. Lindsey has also attended many competitions, receiving regional and national titles in Solo and Group routines. She has received awards for her choreography in Tap, Contemporary, and Musical Theatre. Lindsey choreographs for various high school dance teams in her area.

Lindsey enjoys the reward of seeing the smile on her students’ faces when they achieve a goal they have been working on. For her, dance has been a constant in her life and an art that she is passionate about. She loves to inspire her students to have the same love and passion for dance that she does, and she loves giving them the confidence to express themselves through the art of dance.

Shelby began her dance career at Artistic Dance Unlimited at age six. Throughout her twelve years as a student at ADU, she trained in ballet, lyrical, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary. Shelby was a member of the ADU dance company for eleven years where she attended numerous conventions with the company and received many accolades at various competitions. After graduating high school, Shelby dove into her studies as a full-time college student. Currently, she is a student at King University where she will graduate early with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Reynolds says, “I spent twelve years training at ADU before returning as an instructor. Knowing firsthand how I was treated and loved in my upbringing at ADU contributes to how I encourage and love my students both in and out of the classroom. Having the opportunity to pour into students’ lives is my most favorite part of my week and an opportunity that I am extremely grateful for.”

Emily started dancing at age four, training in ballet and tap for six years at Charolette Ann School of Dance. In 2009, Emily moved to Artistic Dance Unlimited to expand her dance knowledge and abilities. During her eight years at ADU, Emily extensively studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary. Emily also was apart of the Artistic Dance Unlimited Company and competed for five years in the jazz, lyrical, and contemporary styles. During her time at ADU, Emily took the things she was learning outside of the studio, choreographing for her school play and church Christmas production. After graduation, Emily has continued her dance career by becoming a permanent staff member at ADU. Emily looks forward to working with her little girls every week because they bring so much light and joy to the studio. “I love seeing my students break out of their shells and grow as we work throughout the year. It’s always so rewarding seeing their big smiles on stage at the end of the year.” Emily is currently studying Supply Chain Management and Marketing at the University of Tennessee.
